Dan Crane, MBA

Dan’s specialties lie within strategic planning and development for physician groups. He has been a faculty instructor for numerous national pain society conferences, including SPPM and ASIPP. His expertise in business management, marketing strategies, and practice expansion are why his team has managed over 100 million dollars in revenue for private practices. Dan’s greatest professional joy is watching practices grow through the business strategies APEX Biologix implements and helping clients achieve financial success.
When he finds free time in his schedule Dan enjoys taking trips with his wife and four children, and coaching little league sports.

Troy Openshaw, Vice President of Sales

Troy has 20+ years of sales and operational experience in positions of progressive responsibility. He has worked directly with multiple fortune 500 companies, managing large accounts globally. His areas of expertise include Sales Leadership, Talent Development, Brand Management and Strategic Planning. Troy earned his MBA from the University of Utah, achieved Top Performer awards, President’s Club Awards and most important to him; Talent Development Awards. His greatest professional accomplishments have been developing talent and building strong positive cultures. He’s extremely passionate about regenerative medicine and helping physicians be successful with their businesses to provide exceptional service to their patients.

During his leisure time, Troy loves to spend time with his wife and three kids, coach little league and hunt.

Christy Davies, MBA

Christy achieved her MBA in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and has an undergraduate in Healthcare Finance. She has been an adviser and mentor to many facility administrators across the country, as well as sat on many medical association boards. Christy has devoted the past 5 years of her career to business development for regenerative medicine and excels in helping physicians implement and grow their regenerative medicine practices. Christy is a sought after speaker on the subject, speaking nationally for many groups as well as a
guest author on the soon to be released ASIPP Regenerative Medicine Book & A Practical Guide To Building A Cash Practice- Why Sticking to the Norm of Healthcare Will Be The Fall of the Independent Practitioner. As an entrepreneur herself, she, her husband, & now her daughter independently own & operate multiple businesses and joint ventures with others. Christy stands behind her own journey, shares her story with others on how to make a quantum leap in building business, and works side by side with physicians on how to turn from being enslaved to
the insurance model to building a practice that grows and thrives, avoiding burnout as well as growing beyond the 1 :1 patient physician ratio. During her down time, she and her husband enjoy their life in Idaho with their daughter Rose showing livestock and promoting agriculture across the country.

Brad Unsicker

Brad has owned and operated a medical supplies company for the past 27 years, working primarily with interventional pain physicians. He has established and managed independent rep networks across the United States, launching many new cutting-edge products throughout his career. Brad has also coordinated cadaver workshops all over the country with organizations such as ASRA, ASA, SIS, SPPM, ASIPP, as well as our own APEX courses. Brad’s expertise in technical sales and experience in biologic health care are why clients enjoy working with him.

Brad is an avid road biker and loves to spend time with his wife, six children, and three grandkids.

Kaho Fiefia, Director of Marketing & Operations

Kaho Fiefia graduated from Utah State University with his bachelor's degree in business marketing. He's been a major part of building the brands of APEX Biologix and its products. His expertise in design, advertising, and marketing strategies have given our clients positive exposure which sets them apart from their competition.

As a valuable member of the APEX Biologix core team, he is responsible for the direction and coordination of the organization and keeping the business profitable throughout its every function, from human resources to production.

He enjoys working with clients and finding positive solutions to growing their regenerative medicine practice.


Amy Kerbs, Finance Manager

Amy worked as a Medical Assistant and Clinical Research Assistant in Orthopedics for 13 years before deciding to pursue an education in Healthcare Management. After obtaining her Master’s Degree in Management she was recruited to the APEX Biologix team. Amy specializes in consulting with multi-physician groups and assisting with the implementation of policies and protocols to operate more efficiently.

When she’s away from the office she enjoys spending time at her property in the scenic mountains of southern Idaho.
